This notice explains how Card Payment Connect, a trading name of ICP Connects Limited (“we”, “us”), collects and uses the personal information you share with us when you request a free card payment review or otherwise contact us. We are the data controller for the information you provide.
What we collect
- Your name, business name, email address and phone number.
- Optional details about your business, current provider and monthly card turnover.
- Any merchant statement or message you choose to upload or send us.
Why we use it
We use the information you share to carry out your card payment review, respond to your enquiry, and contact you about the findings. Our lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in providing the service you have requested.
Who we share it with
We do not contact your current provider, and we never introduce you to another provider, without your explicit permission. We use a small number of trusted processors (for example secure hosting and email delivery) strictly to operate this service. Cloudflare is our website security and traffic-protection provider. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as is necessary to provide your review and handle any follow-up, and for a reasonable period afterwards for legitimate business and legal record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@cardpaymentconnect.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies, analytics and advertising measurement
Necessary security technologies may operate when you visit the website. Optional analytics and advertising measurement remain disabled unless you choose to allow them.
When you first visit this website, no analytics or advertising technology runs. We ask for your choice before anything optional is loaded, and your choice is stored in your browser (local storage, key cpc_consent_v1) for up to six months. That record contains only your category choices and the dates they were made and expire. It does not contain a user ID or IP address and is not sent to anyone.
Card Payment Connect uses Google Ads conversion measurement to understand whether advertising leads to enquiries. The website does not currently enable personalised advertising through Google tags: the ad_personalization consent signal is always set to denied.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the control, which also appears in the footer of every page.

Our hosting and database provider stores the enquiry you submit but does not set marketing or analytics cookies in your browser as part of using this website.
Statement uploads and advertising parameters
Uploading a merchant statement is optional. You can request a review without one, and we ask you to redact anything not needed for the review, such as bank account numbers and unrelated transaction detail. We never send your name, email address, phone number, message text, uploaded file or its contents to Google or any advertising service.
Advertising parameters such as gclid and UTM tags may appear in the URL when you arrive from an advert. We do not write them into cookies or browser storage before you allow advertising measurement.
