Minimum invoice is not the same as minimum turnover
Adyen says a minimum invoice can depend on industry or business model. Ask what that would be for your company and model a low-volume month against it. Do not turn that into an invented universal turnover threshold. Check custom Stripe terms for any commitments too.
Break down the transaction mix
For both, calculate the costs for your actual payment methods, currencies, card mix and transaction sizes. Separate refunds, disputes, currency conversion and additional products where relevant. A percentage or interchange markup alone does not show the total bill.
Account for the people and software involved
For a multi-channel business, map payments, refunds, payouts and reconciliation through the systems you use. For subscriptions or platforms, identify migration and ongoing maintenance work. A more complex implementation needs a credible business benefit; request a written scope before assuming greater capability means better value.
We don't declare a winner. The right provider for your business depends on your turnover, card mix, transaction values and existing contract position. We can review your current deal and compare suitable options from our selected network. No statement or competing quote is needed to get started.
